How Hybrid works

What you get

  • One coin, one supply. A coin created on Hybrid is one SPL mint on Solana — one billion tokens, created once, minted straight into a Raydium LaunchLab bonding curve whose program owns the mint. Nobody, including the operator, can make more. On Robinhood Chain the same coin exists as an ERC-20 that is minted only against tokens locked in a Solana vault, and burned when they leave. Nothing is issued twice.
  • One price. Because both sides are the same tokens, anyone can buy where the coin is cheap, bridge it, and sell where it is dear. That arbitrage pulls the two prices together; the operator's price link trades them back together when they still drift more than 3%.
  • Trade where you already trade. Hybrid does not route orders. The coin page links every terminal that indexes the coin — Axiom, GMGN, Photon, Jupiter for the Raydium LaunchLab curve on Solana; GMGN and DEX Screener for the Uniswap V3 pool on Robinhood Chain — and you buy or sell there, from your own wallet.
  • Bridge both ways, fee-free. Solana → Robinhood locks tokens in the vault and mints the same amount on Robinhood Chain; Robinhood → Solana burns them and releases from the vault. You pay only the network fee; the minimum per transfer is shown on the coin page.

One supply, two chains

The coin page shows the split live: on Solana = one billion minus what is locked; on Robinhood = what was minted; backed when the vault holds at least the Robinhood supply. Check it yourself any time — the vault address and the ERC-20 are both linked to their explorers. On Solana that figure is itself two things: what the curve still holds (unsold, plus the share it keeps back to seed the pool it graduates into) and what buyers hold.

The Solana side: a Raydium LaunchLab curve

The Solana leg is a bonding curve, not a pool someone had to fill. The whole supply is minted into it and it sells most of that as people buy, at a price that rises along the curve; the remainder is held back to seed the Raydium pool the coin moves to when the curve completes.

  • Depth from block zero. The curve prices against virtual reserves — tens of SOL of quote it does not hold, exactly the way a pump.fun coin does. That is what makes buys route and sells fill from the first block, and it is why the leg is a curve at all: the plain pool this replaced only ever showed the handful of dollars buyers had actually paid in, and terminals refused to route into it.
  • Graduation. When the curve has raised its target it completes and migrates: the tokens it held back, plus the SOL it raised, open a Raydium pool, and the coin trades there from then on. The coin page shows how far along that raise the curve is.
  • The operator holds no share of it. Its only position is the creator buy made inside the launch transaction — and exactly those tokens are what is locked in the vault and mirrored on Robinhood Chain. There is no 70% sitting in a wallet somewhere.

How a launch works

  1. You fill in name, ticker, image, description and socials. Optionally the addresses that should receive creator rewards, and the size of the first buy on Solana.
  2. The operator pins the metadata for both chains.
  3. One transaction on Solana creates the coin, its Raydium LaunchLab curve and the creator's first buy. Because the buy is inside the same transaction, nobody can front-run the launch.
  4. The operator locks exactly the tokens that buy returned in the Solana vault, deploys the bridged ERC-20 on Robinhood Chain, mints the same amount there and opens the Uniswap V3 pool at the same USD price, with a launch buy in ETH so it holds ETH from the start.
  5. The price link starts. If a leg fails after the other succeeded, the coin is marked partial and the failed leg can be retried; the live leg keeps trading.

You sign nothing to launch. Every launch transaction is sent and paid by the operator.

How a bridge transfer works

  1. Solana → Robinhood. The hub builds a transaction that moves your tokens into the vault with a memo naming your Robinhood address. Your wallet signs it, Hybrid sends it. The relayer sees the lock and mints the same amount to that address.
  2. Robinhood → Solana. Your wallet calls burn(token, amount, solanaRecipient) on the bridge contract. The relayer sees the burn and releases the same amount from the vault to that Solana address.
  3. Every transfer shows on the coin page as observed → relayed, with the lock/burn transaction and the mint/release transaction linked. Usually under a minute.

How the price stays equal

Two forces. First, arbitrage: the tokens are the same on both chains, so a gap is free money for whoever bridges first — buy on the cheap chain, bridge, sell on the dear one. Second, the operator: every few seconds, per coin, it reads the Raydium LaunchLab curve, the Uniswap V3 pool and the SOL and ETH prices, computes a USD price per chain, and beyond the threshold (3%) sells on the expensive side and buys the same USD value on the cheap side from its own inventory. Every balancing trade is a normal on-chain trade — it shows in the feed with a linker badge and an explorer link.

  • Inventory-bound. The operator trades from its own coins and SOL / ETH. If that inventory runs out on one side, the link cannot close the gap until it is refilled — the coin page says so. Arbitrage still can.
  • Capped. A per-trade and a daily USD cap, plus a cooldown between trades.
  • Graduation stops the link. When a curve completes and moves to its DEX pool, the operator stops linking that coin and each chain prices itself. The same is true of the older pump.fun and Flap coins, which sit on their own curves with a supply each. The bridge keeps working; arbitrage keeps the price.

What can go wrong

  • The relayer is down. Locks and burns are still valid on-chain, but the other side is not minted or released until the operator's relayer runs again. A transfer stays observed on the coin page; nothing is lost, it is waiting.
  • The vault is operator custody. The operator holds the vault key. If it is lost or misused, Robinhood tokens lose their backing. The supply card shows not backed the moment the vault holds less than Robinhood has minted — do not bridge into Robinhood while it says that.
  • A relay fails. A mint or release can revert (gas, RPC, a bad recipient). It shows as failed with the error; the operator replays it.
  • Thin pool, wide gap. The Uniswap V3 pool can be small. Big trades move it far from the Solana price; the link is capped, so closing that gap can take several rounds — or an arbitrageur.
  • Devnet is not real. On devnet the Robinhood side may be simulated by the hub (marked on the chain list). Coins there are not assets.

What this is — and is not

This is a trusted operator: it runs the vault, the relayer and the price link with its own keys and its own money. It is not audited and not a shared, permission-free bridge; the operator can pause the link, stop relaying, or run out of inventory. What it cannot do is trade for you — it never asks your wallet to sign anything except the one lock or burn you start on the bridge panel, and every transaction it makes is public on-chain. Verify the model with two numbers: vault balance on Solana ≥ ERC-20 total supply on Robinhood Chain.
